Jim Kwok
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Kwok has almost 20 years of banking and management experience serving ultra-high net worth and family office clients. He has been the Chief Executive Officer since November 2012, leading the overall business direction of the Topaz Group. Prior to his appointment, Mr. Kwok held a senior role at HSBC Broking Services (Asia) Limited from 2006 to 2012. Mr. Kwok is the co-founder and committee member of Family Office Association Hong Kong (FOAHK). He is also the Chairman of Supervisory Board of the Algo Challenge Association (ACA).
Alan Mak
Executive Director
Mr. Mak has extensive experience in asset management and he was appointed Executive Director in November 2012. Being the head executive of the company, Mr. Mak is responsible for supervision of investment management, he also reviews the overall client portfolios and business performance. Prior to this role, Mr. Mak was Assistant Vice President of HSBC Broking Services (Asia) Limited from 2005 to 2012. Mr. Mak is currently an SFC licensed Responsible Officer.
Kong Wong
Chief Investment Officer
Mr. Wong has considerable experience in the fields of financial investment and asset management. As the highest investment decision maker and head of the research department, Mr. Wong is responsible for managing the company’s investment portfolio and all sales-related activities, and implementing investment strategies to optimize business performance. From 2008 to 2012, Mr. Wong served as a senior account manager of HSBC Broking Services (Asia) Limited and was mainly active in the futures and options market. Mr. Wong received a bachelor’s degree in economics and finance from the University of Hong Kong in 2008 and is currently an SFC licensed Responsible Officer.

have worked for transnational financial institutions.
They all have obtained a bachelor’s degree or even higher qualifications in finance or economics related disciplines and some of them are
Chartered Financial Analysts (CFA).

Derek Cheung
Chief Marketing Officer
Mr. Cheung has over 10 years of experience in Private Banking field. He was the Senior Vice President of Everbright Sun Hung Kai (EBSHK) Private, and responsible for asset allocation and wealth planning for high net worth. He also participated into private equity investments, including Tencent Music, Sensetime, WeDoctor and etc. Before joining EBSHK, he worked in Bank of China (HK) and Deloitte. Mr. Cheung graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Kelley School of Business Indiana University.
Rex Tsang, CFA
Director of Portfolio
Mr. Tsang is the founder of the AI stock selection system and director of Portfolio Management. He is managing Julius Baer TopazGo AI Dynamic Equity Portfolio. He has over 10 years of investment experience in Asia with leading ibanks and global asset managers. He was the portfolio manager of Shanghai Commercial Bank and index arbitrageur of Société Générale Investment Banking. Mr. Tsang graduated with a MFIN in Financial Engineering (Distinction) from HKU and BBA (1st class honor) from HKUST. He is also the Co-founder and Chairman of Algo Challenge Association.

Elaine Zhang
Founder of Topaz and Eze Family Office Limited (London)
Founder of Topaz and Eze Family Office Limited (London) , also Elysian Executive Solution and Founder of Elysian Executive Club. Ms. Zhang has been working closely with financial firms globally and throughout the region, she is well connected and able to leverage her vast financial industry connections and experience across all levels of business, providing market insight to both buy-side / sell-side clients. She has strong connections with global family offices including greater China, UK and Europe regions. Her vision is to build up a bridge between eastern and western families/HNW communities.
She also often mentors for students from leading universities such as Cambridge, Oxford and Hong Kong University Provide career planning as a mentor and serve as a judge for several entrepreneurial competitions.
