Elaine Zhang
Founder of T&E Partners, Elysian Executive Solution, and Elysian Executive Club.
Ms Zhang has been working closely with family offices and financial institutions all across the world. She has strong connections with global family offices including Greater China, UK and Europe regions. Her vision is to build bridges between Eastern and Western families offices /HNW communities.
Ms Zhang is co-founder of T&E Partners (a cross-border community for family offices and investment management companies). She is also a member of Hong Kong CPPCC Youth Association, a member of 2GHK, and a member of Hua Jing Society. She’s also mentor for students from Oxford, Cambridge, and other top universities in HK.
Mr. Matthew Hodgkinson
Director – T&E Partners
Mr. Hodgkinson, has about 20 years of investing experience, and over 12 years working alongside ultra-high net worth individuals and family offices. Outside of his role at Topaz Eze, he is a Co-founder and Portfolio Manager of Confluence Investors, an ESG & Impact focused hedge fund investing in the non-BRIC emerging markets. Formerly he was a partner at Satya Capital, the family office of Dr. Mo Ibrahim, and he remains an advisor to Satya Capital. He began his career in Mergers & Acquisitions at Lehman Brothers before joining the private equity firm Terra Firma.
Mr. Hodgkinson holds a dual executive MBA from INSEAD and Tsinghua University in Beijing (the ‘TIEMBA’), and an undergraduate degree from Christ Church, Oxford University in Economics and Management. He speaks English and Mandarin.

Valerie Guo
Associate Director – T&E Partners
Affiliated to the business development department of the Hong Kong office of Topaz and Eze Family Office, and is responsible for the noble etiquette business. Valerie studied at London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London, Raffles School of Design Singapore and Hong Kong Polytechnic University, where she received her BA and MA degrees. She used to work in LVMH Group’s public relations and brand management in the fast-moving consumer goods market. Valerie also has extensive mentoring experience in art & fashion management and design. At the same time, she has been responsible for the analysis and evaluation of investment projects of private enterprises, investment and mergers and acquisitions, as well as the development and marketing of virtual asset projects.
